That was no ordinary commuter waiting patiently Tuesday at a Metro stop in northwest Houston. And with those four legs of hers, finding a seat on a bus probably would have been a challenge.

Miss B, as she’s known in the neighborhood, had been missing since early Thursday when a crash of thunder sent the skittish horse bolting from her shed at the home where Denice Timmons lives.

“We had neighbors and everybody looking for that horse,” a relieved Timmons said.
